Caryl MacLeod
Caryl MacLeod, a
Wilbraham watercolorist, finds inspiration from her travels.
Many of her paintings are of places in Nova Scotia, Scotland,
and New England. She especially likes to paint landscapes,
seascapes and architecture. These interests come together quite
naturally in her paintings. Caryl also enjoys painting still
lifes in the form of architectural details—a window with a
window box, a doorway flanked by a flag, and geometric roof
lines.
Caryl’s paintings
have been in juried shows in Springfield and group showings in
Wilbraham, Palmer and Brimfield. In 2001 Wilbraham and Monson
Academy showed her paintings in a solo show.
She is a member of
the Wilbraham Art League and the Hitchcock Academy Art Guild.
